Nope, because I don't mind changing any habits that may anoy a man in my life.Besides I'm not a picky woman even if I'm ivolved in a relationship I could still pretty much do what I wanted.

I use to think so. I use to think that I might even be better off going it alone. I really never thought I would ever find some one that could make me completly happy.
I use to think that in order to have a partner I would have to give up something or change my life style. It just didn't seem worth it.
But then I met someone, that is everything I could ever want. And yes I have to change my life style for it, as I will be moving to Scotland later this year. But he is worth it!
So I guess my attitude has changed a great deal.

I think you get used to a certain way of doing things that may not suit a potential partner. At that point you have to decide whether it's something that they should accept because it's who you are or change it because you agree that another way might be better. But never try to "become" something someone else wants. You're either right for each other or you're not. I always say that if you try to be someone you're not for someone, eventually, your old traits come back in one way or another & the relationship could unravel. Be you, be natural.

I agree to an extent. The older you get the less blinkered you become. Experience tells you you cannot change worrying traits in a partner, that a younger person may chooses to initially ignore.

IMO I don't look at is as becoming picky, I look at it as learning not to settle for less than you deserve.

I am "just" 28 and I agree. Compared to when I was 18 things are much more difficult now.LOL...It is strange how your expectations towards a relationship change..with 18 it was fun and who cares but now it's more than that...and that's why I also realize i do get picky....and all I want is a reasonable man with a bit of sense...and there I find myself struggling...looks like irish men don't go for me lol:)....so I even cannot say I am picky lol...but seriously I guess I know what you mean
