I am retired. I play golf every week. I go fishing every week. I belong to the Boy Scouts. I volunteer at a soup kitchen. I participate in church activities. I do charity work.
I travel months every year. I usually fly or cruise somewhere. I been to Mexico, Canada, Italy, France, Spain, Greece and Croatia in the last 18 months. I been to about 20 states in my RV in the last year. In June I am heading out to Maine, Canada, South Dakota, Montana, Missouri, Washington, and Oregon in my RV.
My question is: When you retire do you have a list of things you want to do? Are you planning sufficiently enough to live that life? How do you see your future?
Right now, I'm working on my dream by going to school to become a Doctor of Naturopathy. Then, I intend to work on my bucket list starting before I retire. I have so many places I want to see, and things I want to do, before I die. I don't think I can ever accomplish all of it because I'll never run out of things I want to do or places I want to see, but I'll do as much as I can do before I "change worlds".

hopefloats: Well, I'm making plans for a bucket, but no list has been started just yet.
John, I hope you enjoy your trip this summer.
Thank you. When I return from this three month RV trip I have plans to go to Ireland and Argentina. I want to the the green fields of Ireland and Iguazu Falls in Argentina.

The nice thing about a bucket list it is never suppose to run out of items on it. You are doing it right if it is longer than you can accomplish.

Sure I can post pictures. I usually take 1,000's on my travels. I can't wait for 'her' to show up. Life is too short and I don't want to look back and say I wish I would have... Until she shows up I am going to live.

Good, because I'll never run out of things I want to add to it. Stuff I want to learn, things I want to do, people I want to meet, places I want to see...I'm eternally curious, and find this whole world and everyone in it endlessly fascinating. Life is never boring.

This is where I see the second part of my initial comments come into play. Sharing what we learn and know with others. My Boy Scouts, Church, volunteering and other things brings us into a circle of life. This gives me a balance and keeps me centered!
