Rather than using the internet have you tried any local
dating events, clubs, speed dating meetings, that kind of thing ?
Sometimes being face to face is better, you get an instant visual response to your comments, jokes etc. A smile or a laugh is such a powerful thing which doesn't always come across here sometimes. And if it is positive then it gives you the courage to persist.
