Well truthfully it would make more sense if everyone kept writing letters .... leaving the site what good will that accomplish? I suggest people write and keep on writing until the problem is fixed. Lori told me that she was advised that they were temporarily banned ..... so its got to be some kind of technical glitch.

The castaways have been elevated to martyr status in the last month.
Their close friends already have their email address , so it really doesn't make a difference if they return or not.
If they wanted to , they could return under different names , and dazzle everyone with their brilliance once more.
I have nothing against them personally , except for philosophical differences , as everyone has with one another. What I find amusing is that the clique here can beat the issue to death like this.

No protests will fix this. Betcha it's the July 4th holiday that's slowing this down.
Ever try to get anything done from Friday until the 4th is past?
Everybody is on vacation most of that week, since they get an extra day due to the holiday on the fourth.
We'll all keep sending emails to the administrators and all will come back to normal.

There is a conduct code that we all observe in the real world, we have to observe it in this world.
You cannot expect to join the pack mentality and bully people. In the real world this is harrassment.
Until they were banned, I was quite happy not to be here. With them gone, it has been bliss.
No haranguing of people, no bullying, absolute peace and quiet.
Why be in a rush to bring dischord and disharmony back?

This stuff must happen on every site...I said in my intro that I am a moderator on another site and I would just like to say that it is a cycle. There will be ups and downs on every site. The thing is that EVERY site has rules and when you are an admin or mod, you have to enforce those rules. Sometimes when you are "a regular" poster you do not see the big picture....sometimes you do not know all the details. And that is how it should be....I know when I am moderating on the other site I often have private discussions with a person who is breaking the rules way before anything public happens like them being locked out. I really do not think it would be in anyone's best interest if all of the details of rulebreaking were posted everywhere....I for one would rather be informed privately instead of a big public show. The bottom line is that all of the protesting does nothing but stir up a lot of drama and make the forums uncomfortable for everyone. In my opinion--which you can certainly take or leave--it is better to just keep it positive. If you are miserable here or don't agree with admin decisions...then find another site that you like better. If your friends get locked, then contact them another way....I am sure this won't be a popular first post...but as I said it is my opinion...and everybody has one.
