smoky: Hello everyone!
I found some sort of access to CS ... but its SO slow my nerves cant take the waiting period between writings! But I just wanted to say HI to you all, and tell you how flipping hot it is out here in this desert!
I went on a Desert Safari .... one and half hours of driving, by a lunatic kamikaze driver over mega sand-dunes out to a camp in the desert where the entertainment and food was laid out.... En route to this place I tried some Sand-boarding down a dune - made it half-way down and slid the rest of the way filling up all my pockets, ears, nose, and hair with sand.
Nothing much to do here in this Oasis town I`m staying in. My grandson is a real Squeeler and (thankfully) is very wary of me, so I get a lot of peace and reading......
Timetables are upside down cause its too hot for normal people to do normal things. Other people, the insane ones, go Shopping Malling (national pastime). I just dash out at 10.30am to the pool thats about 2m from the patio, dive in and stay submerged for as long as possible. Sleep till 4pm. Stay up all night when its nice and cool outside .....
You all have fun meantime, and try not to behave yourselves too much!
