I am lucky as I have at least a half a dozen true friends (male and female). The problem is that I have fallen in love with one of them (female). However, she is one of the closest people in my life, a go to friend at 3am, and one that never judges, and I never judge her. Man I wish I had her in my arms right now.

I've never experienced this -- guess you have to make a decision - would revealing your true feelings damage the friendship if they aren't returned?

Hello Here I am. Hey that sounds really cool. That is what I want to find a real friendship and then fall in love with him. I met my exhusband thru work but we worked different departments. Some day I will find my best friend and fall in love too.

Well, one thing I can tell you from a woman's pt of view - I'd rather be in a romantic relationship with someone who is also a good friend - and all that comes with it - unconditional and non-judgemental friends - thru good times and bad times - that's a good mate.

I have a male friend-the best friend I have ever had. There is nothing I can't tell him and vice versa. We did everything together but drew the line at dating for fear we would lose the most precious thing to us-friendship. I like him like a brother but I heard from friends he liked me for more and wanted to ask me out but the friendship thing was getting in the way. I met someone and was with them for 16 mo during which time this friend and I chatted once in a blue moon. The only way I could communicate with him was through email. My bf would not permit me to continue the way I had in the past.(he was jealous and controlling) Well..my friend wrote how lonely he was (so was I actually) and man did I feel terrible. Once I truly saw what my bf was like, I broke it off and went back to the life I had before him. My best friend calls and we do things but he is keeping his distance for fear I might find someone else...so....I have no advice to offer but perhaps you need to tell how you really feel. My guess is that she knows....good luck....

I do want to say congratulations and hopefully some day things might work out for you both. Maybe she will take another job or something so you two can be together.
