jersey64418pennsauken, New Jersey USA8 Threads 16 PostsI had a party this weekend, and I was talking to a buddy of mine. We were talking about love, he said he could honestly tell me he has never expierence real love, and that he didn't want to , because everyone that falls in love ends up hurt. He could even point out a handfull of people in the room, that say they were in love, and then ended up bitter after they got hurt. But I told him it is impossible for anyone to have this love thing figured out(somebody tell me you’ve got love figured out,lol) Love is just dam messy, for everyone. But I guess it’s always been that way, and the way it is always going to be. Wanting to be loved, to find somebody that makes your heart ache in a good way.. to feel understood. So.. if your one of those people who has never expiernced love, or never want that feeling to exsist for them; well... you missed it... and I feel sorry for you. 'Cause as far as I can tell, that’s what it’s all about. And that’s what I know it should be about."

I've had that feeling in my life, and I agree that I want to find it again. It's a beautiful feeling. Can I live without it? Yes. But life is richer and fuller when you do find it.

I've had that feeling & it's great. Sure, we all get hurt. That's just part of life. But as I've said several times, we control our own moods. There is a time to mourn. But then you need to pick yourself back up & learn from the experience. Everything happens for a reason. And we learn from experience, right?

Yes I can live without love.... but even though it hurts and it is messy, life with love is so much more interesting. What would life be without taking risks?

How I hate that saying, sorry but it just doesnt make sense to me. How can feeling the pain of losing love be better than not having felt it?
I know people say it is worth it, but personally, for me, its not.
Why put yourself in a position to feel that hurt? To me nothing is worth that.
