I would assume people develop good behaviour patterns by practicing them..until they became second nature.
As a good friend of mine once said..to practice saying 'thank you' and 'please' to people..and acknowledging others.

I agree with about 95% of what you have to say. But the name of your thread is how to be good. in step 5 you say "step5.Words:Chose your words carefully.If u have nothing nice to say,say nothing 'politely'" thats only half true. To be a good person the truth may have to be blunt and not so nice. I wish it worked diffrently but hey thats life.
