Profiles can be set so that no one sees who views a profile.

TheresMyFriend: Someone send you a flower, and yet...they don't show as having seen your profile? Sounds like the beginning of a possible scam! The 1st question that came to my mind was: "let see if that person looked at my profile first, before sending me the flower...then, nope...empty...no viewers"!
So, I should just delete that contact attempt? I think so...

No, them not showing on your "Who's-Viewed-Me" list
doesn't mean anything of the sort... It's just a setting they choose to have.
You try to flower someone without going into their profile. Can you do it?

To do this, you have to turn off your viewings. It means that you can't see who views you, either. But there are people who do it, and women seem to do it a lot more than men from what I see.
Enjoy your flower. I read the profile and see if it seem legit. Any questions, I respond and see what the response seems like, legit or not.
Look for discrepancies, areas where maybe the profile was patched or altered. Or see if she then emails you and includes a yahoo address in it. These are the things I look for, my friend. I can spot a scammer like a bloodhound smells a criminal.

It's good to be cautious but you seem to be getting somewhat paranoid, especially since there is a logical explanation as to why some don't show as having viewed your profile. Hint: Most scammers don't send flowers, since they go right for the throat, and heart, with a hijacked first email to include their yahoo email address.
The term scammer is getting to be used and abused on this site.
Any man who is widowed seems to be getting a bum rap now, as are those with broken English. Even the men who state they are Native American with black eyes and post a picture of a blue eyed blonde Scandinavian.....
