I think that if the opportunity arises to date someone local as opposed to someone far away its probably a better idea to pick the local person if you have no idea if the long distance relationship is ever in fact going to work out.

I think its being realisic to your situation. In the long distance relationship is one party willing and able to move eventually? If there are children involved its vital to make those types of decisions at the beginning before the relationship getes too involved. Better to admit that while you like the person the types of compromises required may not be in the best interests of everyone involved. Sometimes loving someone is letting them go.

As for people being hard to please does that really matter whether someone is local or not?? I certainly think that you are correct that a "local" relationship seems to move more quickly but it makes alot of sense when you consider the time that you can spend together as opposed to a long distance relationship. A pace of a relationship though should be comfortable for both people - so if you're feeling rushed .... slow it down because if this person cares about you they should also respect your feelings.

No I think you should try the women in Greece....especially the blondes named Angel!

I know how you feel. I am not too fond of going with someone in my area as well. It is maybe easier but if something happens you break up then you see them more and it can get quite ackward etc..

But long distance relationships are very hard as well.

So either way you will have a hard time lol

yeah sticking with girls in your area is best i think. i never have as much problems when i meet a girl in person rather than on here or the net in general. i was even on a date this weekend past with a nice girl, so wish me luck.
