Of course I've been confused by relationships and I think that most people have been at some points in time ........ the best way to avoid confusion that I've found is to ask for clarification. Some people are better communicators than others so don't give up hope but just keep on asking questions and clarifying the information that you have received until you understand.

we have been chatting, I'm nervous and so is he( I presume) went back over all my posts to try and figure out he's last E-mail and I cant.. we have been chatting. the only thing I can think of is he offered me he's phone number and said he would take mine, but if I wasn't ready he was quite willing to chat on line as we are.. the only thing I can think of is that.. i sent him back a flower and was on line to chat..(I didn't give him my number thats all) missed him on line he missed me.. then he said he was sorry basicly for bothering me and something about i need to swim in the sea before I step on the shore.. I will phrase that properly

just for him.. I swam from an early age, I've had to kick a few sharks asses. I got to shore a little while back... love the sand between my toes.. but I'm a strong swimmer and If you need me to come back in to the deep end and help you out just say, and we will talk.. i do like swimming with you, and would like to swim some more.. no body drowns in my ocean.....ok. hugsxx

He's likely a bit insecure, perhaps misinterpreting you being online and not chatting with him right away. Maybe he senses - wrongly or otherwise - that you aren't very interested, so he preempts it by giving a "it's you not me speech" and leaves it at that.
Two options I can see is to either confirm your interest in him and let him know he's somehow misunderstood you or maybe let him go, if he appears too insecure.

no, let me be honest, I have confidence in myslef, but I so wanna keep swimming and if this gets me embarrassed here, well cover me red I'm part native american anyway! So, I said some stupid things, and regret what I was saying, I just don't wanna be a bother, thought I was throwing myself at you too hard and sometimes throwing yourself too hard moves people away from you. I know I probaly should not have posted this, should have left them wondering who the guy was, but to prove I wanna keep swimming too, I'll say out loud I'm an idiot and please forgive me? Sorry, especially to have come on the forums with it.
