Since both my parents were gone and during the time I was married to my late husband and had my two sons there was a lady who already had children,grandchildren and greatgrandchildren of her own who took me under her wing so to speak.When she found out I was pregnant with my sons she made baby blankets for them,sent them birthday cards and Christmas cards with money included and signed them Love your 'other' Grandma.
My sons real grandmother never did a single thing for them from the time they were born etc.
My sons considered that other woman who wasn't related to them as their gandmother and called her so whenever they'd see her.

I'm missing my mother. I have a client. She is a business woman like my mother. She has always been stern, never late for her weekly appointment for the last 30 years. She is failing now and I will do all I can for her. I have loved her like a mother and she has allowed me too.

Hi I know all to well how you feel cause I miss my mom too. But I spread more time now thinking and remembering the good times and all the good times her and I had to together.I guess my other mom so to speak took up where my real mom left off.

I don't have to be convinced that a 'MOM' isn't just the woman who gives birth to you. Everyone needs a mom whether she's related or not.When your single and live away from your biological family then 'Moms' can come in handy.

Yes I did & she too has passed,like my mother.....my godson calls me his other mother....what a
..as for I cannot have children of my own.....HE chose ME...how great is that...he is now 16yrs old & Im still his other Mother....I get gifts every mothers day from him..Ive saved everything he made for me ...cards ...posters... And will share with him one day....hes a wonderful young man
