Hi all
Need some advise here .I was reading another members comments and they sent a thank you mail to all that had viewed their profile .
I have started to do this .
What I would like to know from the ladies is .Does this come across as being wishy washy or to soft or is just being polite and nice.

Thank you in advance for your time
Have a great day
Lloyd

Well, I guess it IS polite BUT do you have enough hours in the day to be sending "thank yous" to everyone?

Basically, do whatever feels right for you cheers

I don't do it, but it's certainly your call. If I received a "thank you for viewing my profile" message, I wouldn't see it as soft or wishy-washy. I would think it was nice and polite, but I don't think any less of the greater majority of people who don't send such messages.
As previously stated, do what feels right for you.

Exactly - and how come beautiful young ladies keep looking at my profile?

Heck - why can't older more mature ladies check me out.

These young women are such a bunch of perverts........... yuck!

I love it - thanks!

confused I've never heard of anyone doing this, and missed that post obviously. My friends here in the forums would be getting a lot of thank yous and so would scammers. Nope, I'm not going to start doing this, but you've got to do what feels right to you. No, it's not "wishy-washy", it would be a nice gesture.

Blessings, and good luck to you.

Grand jester, but many view profiles because someone started a thread, as you did, because someone liked what someone posted, because someone wants to just see what someone is all about. It does not always mean they are interested. So, possibly you may be wasting your time.......
I also view women's profiles, doesn't mean anything...or does it?

Yes, I remember reading that thread and MO is that it's a waste of time. I'd think that it's just plain old "weird" and superfluous ... and I'm a stickler when it comes to being polite and respectful when you correspond with someone you don't know.

I would never thank the people for viewing my profile confused
They are just looking and nothing else . To thank everyone would be a bit presumptuous of me I think .I mean someone could just
view my profile out of curiosity or clicked on my profile because of something I have said in the forum . It wouldn't necessarily mean that they thought I was all that or anything.
If someone wants an email from me they usualy mail me first JMO.

No, not wishy-washy at all, Lloyd. I think its very gallant and certainly well-mannered.

I simply can't do that, I don't have the time (sorry, not being egotistical but I do have a huge amount view my profile but that's not to say they get in touch!).....

Your approach is most refreshing, my friend. handshake
