Yes I know that sounds vain and pretentious. Here's what I had in mind: I have never cared much about the particulars of my life;what I drove, what I ate, whether my socks matched etc. I have insisted that my life be INTENSE,in terms of looking forward to the wonder of what might happen next.
Lovers of a comfortable routine tell me that is a scary, unstructered way to live.We must go to work, take out the trash, and such like.... But not all the time...
We still could work a few minor wonders in our spare time. Scratching your back could get to be a big deal... The trick to wonderworking is being willing.
I agree we could all find a little time to help others, but I wouldn't call it working wonders....just helping our fellow man....But I've never cared for the importance of worldy thing either..
It becomes a wonder when it enhances life beyond the ordinary. And it doesn't have to involve service to strangers. Some of my best wonders occur alone....on a trout stream or lost in a book which moves me. Life becomes better than it is and you get to keep it... Such experience requires willingness for it to happen. And it wasn't your back I was interested in scratching...
FELINE It is TATER who wants to improve the lives of others altruistically. I want to improve my OWN.Others are welcome to do the same and ,getting lucky,we might even do a wonder or two together...
So you have a great point. But you do need to think a little about the tomorrows...Not sure if I could live in a box on the street. I do love adventures and all the thrill that it brings and new things are the spice of everyones being.

sure deep thought, especially when alone can allow you to see things differently, then if you were in a crowd with alot of things going on, but I'm sure sure exactly what you mean...I don't think???
Today I did some very ordinary mundane things involving laundry, the toilet bowl and tuna fish. I did some other things which reflected the glimmer of wonderment.Exactly what I did is of no importance... What did you do? Did any of it glimmer?

Well, I pissed behind the shed... it really didn't glimmer though?
