well lets see. If an atheist belives in the non-god issues and a cotholic believes in the god issues they both believe in something, both claim to believe in something. Then, yes, in terms of what they think. Maybe catholics don't exist My grandmother would be cheesed to hear that.

Using the same standards of proof commonly accepted to deny the existence of God, can somebody prove "atheists" exist?
It wouuld be nice if the person attempting to do so, would refrain from using the words, faith, and/or belief; or forms of it.
Supposedly science, and reason are on the side of the mythological "atheists."
And, Christians only have faith, and belief.
So, please don't ask me to accept your belief, and faith as proof "atheists" exist; use science, facts, and reason.
I dont think science does prove or disprove the existence of god. Infact science proves nothing it only disproves things to the point of having something that is no longer disprovable. The general consensus of athiests is they do not believe in a god. Athiest is a term for non believers of a god or spirituality. The term was created for these people these people did not become this because of the term.

Prove to me they dont exist...
Prove to you they don't exist?
Does the topic say I'm going to prove anything?
It say's I don't believe in "atheists," I'm looking for proof they're real.
A general consensus...?
Is that the same as a fact?
"Atheist" is a term created, not a person.
If God does not exist, he's just a created term too.
So what proof do you have that "atheists" are any more tangible than God?

The word theist means someone who believes in the existence of god. The word atheist simply means someone who does not believe in the existence of god. So yes there are atheists & out there.
7. No god tells me to start a war over another land having the wrong god or the wrong types of people (see the one above), so I don’t have to support pointless wars that justify some ridiculous ancient prophecy or for other silly reasons, like god talking directly to the leader of my country. (Don’t even get me started on how scary that is. At least he’s gone now!)
8. No god makes promises to me about being a martyr, so I have no reason to strap a bomb to myself and blow up a train station or whatever kills the most innocent people.
9. No god makes open-ended promises that will never come true about armageddon and going up to heaven soon, so I am responsible about the environment, and try my best to have a small impact on the planet, and also support research into making things better for everyone through science and smarter living.
10. No god promises eternal life to me, so I understand that this life is precious. I take personal responsibility seriously, and I live my life the best way I can because it’s the only one I’ve got. I value the lives of others too, for the same reason.
Theres lots more where that came from if you still doubt that I exist...........
