Everybody's situation is different.......... when with somebody you love there is no need to spend time on the internet; but if a relationship includes time spent apart then it's nice to communicate with other people.
I was a prisoner 22/7 when at home and I made use of CS; now that my mother is in a nursing home I am free to go out and use CS less; if my partner was with me I'd spend time with her not on a pc.

A very good question... personally if two people found each other on here they may stay on for the forum chat as this is one big family.

My motivation to be here would not disappear, though I probably wouldn't be here as often anymore. I plan on remaining here for my friends and the forums, because I honestly enjoy it here. The moment that changes, I will be gone whether I'm in a relationship or not.

Of course, CS would dwindle if everybody hooked up and ran off into the sunset.
Sometimes, there is a good debate that we discuss over dinner and often disagree and we post our views, but that does not mean that we lead our lives for this place. We both enjoy it, we are both independent of this place and we have a balance. Spending time here does not mean that we are looking for something else. Depends on why one is here, if you are looking for the one and one finds it here, and one finds that you both should leave then fine. If one likes to be here and chat then fine.
Then of course, there are those times that is not for CS, you know, those times..... Then no person sees us for dust!
