alot of men and women in the service arnt faithful to their girlfriends or wives. not saying that all men and women are not faithful just saying there is alot. im young and interested in finding someone that will support me while i serve my country. have the women and men of our armed forces hurt my chances of finding my special someone?

I seen a few women state they feel truckers in general aren't faithfull. Can't say I've heard them complain much about service men.

I was with someone in the army it was a good relationship, but he was killed in Afghanistan on duty .... when i was much younger..Its a lot of presure for your partner but it wont stop a female wanting you..it just takes effort ..
I don't think its about worrying you would be unfaithful, that can happen in any walk of life, but it must be hard for a partner to be constantly worried for your safety

no, not for some. My ex was Navy and for the first 4 years of our marriage we barely saw each other..barely. We did end up splitting up because of his infidelity, but that was his bad choice- not because of being military. For me a military guy or off shoreman is kinda a bonus for me, because I'm so independent and I like to have time for myself, for some women this is not for them being separated from their loved ones for months at a time- they want their man home every night. Just makes the homecoming that much sweeter. And allot of women love a man in uniform, so it's not a retracted JMHO. Thanks for serving BTW!
early for me too..detraction but it takes a strong trust bong on both partners..for the one in the service away from home, and the one at home with the partner away.
I have spent much time around vets and one good thing is that the military teaches then discipline and responsibility. On the other hand, many vets suffer from trauma that is so unbearable they become forever violent and self-abusive with alcohol and drugs. I think overall though, military men are keepers. They served our country and we ought to be grateful.

it depends who you talk to, I am one and have many friend who are also drivers. we are just the same as the rest, trying to make a living for our familys. we are in general no more or less faithful than the rest, we just get a bad rap from what people percieve that we do.
