Ok we see this in movies all the time, but we all know it is real. You are a married man or woman in an office and you have to contend with a very attractive single person everyday. You and that person operate in the same work space. How do you deal with the situation? confused

Honest question: How would you feel if you had read this post, and your wife was the author??....
Temptation is a constant in life. By entertaining thoughts of infidelity, you do a disservice to your marriage and your wife. There's a very old saying, "You can't have your cake, and eat it too.."
Have some character and discipline, and show some respect to your wife and partner. You must have had a reason for marrying her, right?....She's stuck by you thru thick and thin, now it's your turn to deliver...

If I was married and temptation entered my mind whenever I see an attractive woman, conversing I would look but don't touch, And I would call my wife to tell her "I love her."

Totally agree with the above.... or at least have the guts to finish with your wife first before starting another relationship.
If you can't do that, then you shouldn't be messing around !

Lago, very good post. My father is a retired airline pilot, and was surrounded by beautiful women with great personalities all day long, sleeping in hotels across the country with the crews. He never cheated on my mother. (Yes, I know my father, and he'd never do that...he didn't take communion for years because he had a vasectomy to save her life, and that was birth control.) They always had an agreement that looking was a given part of being human, but touching was off-limits. wine

umm well I tend to wait for the "new" fresh-meat hot feelings to wear down, and I guess nit-pick, find something how ever minor and let it get under your skin so you get turned off, and it's worked for me before.

hug comfort I'm sorry to hear that. I'll suggest that you have healing to do before you start dating anyone because right now you'd find it difficult to trust anyone, and without trust, there is no relationship. Not all women are like that, TB. bouquet

There's nothing wrong at looking at the menu - so long as you go home for dinner, and keep your eyes off the desert trayrolling on the floor laughing

Its only a problem when your mind isnt right. If you have to think about it then your relationship with your spouse is in trouble.
