phoenixrising1northern, British Columbia Canada58 Threads 25 Polls 1,086 Postsi have been asked ... do you still love her ?? well yes ...she is the mother of my 4 kids ...and we shared over 27 years together... and i vowed i would love her in sickness and in health ...richer or poorer ..better or worse....till ...death do us part ... its over ,,and i really let go.. but i will always love her.... but she is not the special person i will love ,cherish and respect till i die . yes i will always love her... kindheart said to me ...love is not eternal....i say it is till death do us part.

There is no reason you should not still love her, but you do still move on. Why leave when there is nothing left but hate??? Better to have love and lost then not to have loved at all.... maybe there is some wisdom to that saying...??
I loved the person I thought my ex was when we got married ... he is the father of my children ... but I care in a small way for him but ... in my case ... no love is left for my ex. Your ex is lucky because you believe in the for better or worse, sickness and in health, richer or poorer... he did not.
There are many couples that have split but are still caring, and even better friends after the split. If this is what you have phoenixrising... you are a lucky man.
