Sorry if this offends anyone... but in general I´ve found Canadians abroad to be much more accepting of things as they are and they seem to have more of a desire to experience the culture they are visiting.
I´ve found that Brits and Americans seem to want everything the way it is at home.
Again I´m speaking in general and there are always exceptions to everything. ( I was born in Britain and grew up in the States, but live very happily in Spain now and don´t want it to be anything like "home")
No offense from me, my step-mom is Canadian and I found her and people I saw when I went to visit to be totally opposite and very . But not everyone's like that so who knows.

No offense to you, but I accepted everything. If I wanted things like they were at home, I would have stayed home.

Do you know how often I´ve wanted to say that to people? If you want it like it is at home... go home!!!!!!
I work in the tourist industry... and I get so fed up with people who have no interest in experiencing the culture they are visiting... they´re only here for the sun....

I'm with you on this. If you don't like something go back where you came from.

In response to: AND WHATS ' THE REAL DIFFERENCE ' BETWEEN THE TWO NATIONALITIES / CULTURES ?
i don't know if its true or not ..but they say that everything you'll hate about the united kingdom or united states of america you'll love about canada ?
Having lived in the US and Canada.. I see no difference among the people.. anyway...not all of us say "eh".. and not all Americans say "y'all" But oh.. those southern accents...
