How can a person just name one or 2 people that shaped their lives Gilly?
Parents have always had shaped their kids lives one way or the other. Friends, pets, teachers, even enemies. Even T.V., our heroes, the world, Dr.s Nurses, politics, abusers, lovers and religion. Even our own children.
Everyone has a point in their lives where they wish they were someone else, had different parents, wanted to live someplace else.
JMO, it would be very difficult to just pick one person who has had a major effect on my life, when so many others have also helped mold me into who I am today.

No. It's one of those discussions I'd rather have with friends in person over a tea/meal or what ever. Even with family but out of respect, for myself, it's not something I do on a public forum.
