Well i think you can get the feelings more then once, and perhaps even more so then before- you have to stay open-minded, i mean if you don't believe u could feel the same way, you wont. You have to give ur new parter the benefit of the doubt and open your heart- otherwise it wont work.

I think...that no matter how much you love and adore someone, if they aren't with you then its just not meant to be at the moment...then u haven't found your soul mate, but if you are so certain wait a bit because it might be something happens and they come back to you

I kinda agree with you christy, i think there are a handful of souls out there for you. I believe a soul mate is a soul u connect deeply with, and someway- you will find it cos its just meant to happen. I think having only ONE soulmate in this world is abit an ignorant thing to believe in- as there are soo many out there.

i'm with you on this one to a point Simmy, i thought i had a soulmate in a mates expartner we got on great had grown up 2gether and even after she finished with my mate we always kept in touch but people change,we were their for each other in hard times but as others come into your life sometimes you have to compromise and new soulmates are discovered without looking....

Hey snipe, I'm in the same boat as you; I thought I found the perfect girl, but she ends up screwing me over and my heart just shattered. Its the worse feeling in the world and you feel so empty and pointless.
But I do agree with everyone on the thread so far..maybe she was wasn't the right one for ya? Or maybe its one of those "patience(sp?) tests" that happens in life so often. But which ever it is, you'll fall on your feet like a cat...its just hard to see right now.
And remember, theres twice as many girls on earth than guys, so maybe you have two soulmates instead of just one?

I for one think people have more than one soulmate. I think if you thought she was your soul mate and she chose someone else, she really was not your soul mate. If she was chances are she would have stayed....... I think you should go on and believe it was most likely for the best, and your soul mate is still out there somewhere..... Stay optimistic.....

O.K. O.K. There"s no ship there. I was on an aircraft carrier fo a good long while but, that didn't drive me silly to the point of seeing ships floating above my head. I'm looking at the "hello" word bubble thing..I thaught it would be odd, or funny or what have you. I like to think there is more than one person to inspire a certain feeling but the patience aspect doesn't count after 14 years. I don't think anyone should think about someone everyday for 14 years.It's odd. I know, but such is life. When you've tried everything from hating that person to get them out of your head to just wishing them well in whatever comes thier way and you still think on them DAILY, it borders on the loony.Admiting that doesn't help either. You just wait, and hope without hope.I realize now that i shouldn't have brought it up in forum. Even my friends think it's odd when i mention it.
