When someone experiences a bad realtionship and you feel you can no longer trust them.Do we fully recover afterwards and learn to find trust again?

I know jeepers and I thank god everyday that I've never ever had to feel distrust in anyone. My heart really goes out to those who have.

There's times when I wish I had a magic wand and could all their hurt go away.

It would take a long time for me to trust them. Then if they did the littlest thing, I would probably lose it and not be able to get it back. I know that's not good, but I can't help it. Trust isn't something you can turn off and on.

If you meant--Can we trust the ones who have hurt us, through 20 years I never could again--to much damage done...But if you meant can people learn to trust another after a bad relationship-then yes-like I wrote it just takes finding that right person...

And even though I stayed way to long and alot of hurt--it also made me the person I am today and also brought me to the person who has made me the happiest I have ever been in my life...

I hope this makes sense...dunno

I didn't mean someone to train you silly.laugh

I met in regards in how someone mistreats someone. That's what I meant about how we train someone on how they treat us.

I did read a thread today on another site I'm on where someone was asking about how do you train a man.
