Ok, so I have been on this site for 4 1/2 years and twice changed my screen name due to stalkers.help

So how can I word this in a polite way that I dod not wish to be contacted by people from Africa and the eastern part of Europe (mainly the Middle East)? Every way I think of, it just comes out rude but blunt. (I'm a very blunt person)uh oh

So how would you say it to sounds nice but to the point?confused

In your "Edit my profile" there is a section where you can block the countries you do not wish to receive any interest from.....

But these guys are everywhere... and they will find you anyway!

I keep getting these "Hello my dear" mails, that wax lyrical with long romantic poetry (usually there is no photograph, and they beneath the age your profile says you are interested in)....

....Here`s an example of one - to which I replied "I think you are insane"...

"hello dear

What's life? Life is a journey that begins at birth, an exploration of a paradise called earth. Life is a breath of fresh air against your cheek. It's the tears that fall and the smile that lifts you when you're weak. Life is an exclamation of joy when spring has begun. It's the excitement you feel beneath the sun. Life is a cherished memory that makes you feel warm and the comfort of a fire in the midst of a storm. Life is holding your newborn and watching your child grow. It's pigtails and roller skates, and fights in the snow. Life is a heartbeat and the song of a bird. It's the voice of those you love and all the music you've ever heard. Life is the most precious gift from God that you'll ever receive, and to live it to its fullest, you've only to believe... that this is your life, and you can be, all you've ever hoped to be. you can get to know me through this if we can chat on messanger id..........................at/y/a/h/o/o/do/c/o/m I'm Online now , If you wish to have a chat with me all you need do is to add me for a chat or you can email me directly to my mail box and i ll probably add u in my messenger for a chat so we can chat and get to know more about each other..i am seriuosly searching for a serious relationship and true love... From........."

...........................

Now, you just gotta believe that this guy is totally insane, huh? He has never even read my profile, cause he is somewhere in the 30`s age bracket!!!!!! ....and he is from North America!

Smoky,

So your getting the same story line as well. I don't feel so stalked now! cheering I did do the "EDIT" page but they just say their from Finland, Norway, (RUSSIA?)hummmmm.... Ect, ect and it's ALWAYS the same story but a word or two has been changed here and there.

So when I delete the emails or flowers then I get a NASTY email asking why I can't help a brother out with a visa. NOT MY JOB!barf

I do block them when I open their emails but I never read what they have to say. If you read it once, you have read it a million times already so to speak.

The ones from the Middle East like to lay blame on us Americans for ruining their life but they can't tell that I'm an American just from my profile and they can't tell that I am a United States Marine either. Yeah I did my time in hell and got out and moved my daughter to Germany to "TRY" for a more peaceful life.hug

But I just can't stand getting emails from people that do not meet my "WISH LIST". And so far either my pic and profile really suck to the white guy or well..... I just have no clue. I think it's honest at best and tells a lot about me without giving to much away.sad flower

But thank you to all that gave their 2 cents worth. Except the French guy! I guess he didn't read what my post was about in full!frustrated

I don't really see where the problem is-you can just say you are not interested or not answer at all, whats so difficult about it?Anyway the scam don't appear as African or whatever they are, they pretend to be American or European so I don't think it makes much sense to say you don't want to be contacted by people of certain nationalities. You can't allways know whats true and false as long as you havn't been talking with them for a while.

Sorry, I don’t see any problem in this. Everyone here, both men and women, receives massages that don’t make much sense. If you don’t want to be polite, then don’t be polite. Why to suffer and pretend you are polite person if you are not?

And as it was said above, you can delete, ignore, report, block. Or you can enjoy the reading: the style, the choice of words, their profiles that state they are engineers while they obviously barely can write in any language. I actually do enjoy these letters.

RobertC2: 'Peachy' bum pic!............. may I stalk you?

You can if you want Bobert..but bear in mind this.....

(Words & Music by Jerry Reed)

My re-edited version...

Now, I'm a Irish Male 'cause I was born
In an Antrim town on a Tuesday morn
Now Anrtim just happens to occupy a place
In the northeastern portion of this here green Isle
Now that's a matter of fact, buddy
And you know it well
So I just call myself the Irish Male
That's M-A-L-E, son. That's me!

Now I said all that to say all this
I've been watchin' the way
You've been watchin' my miss
For the last three weeks you been hot on her trail
And you kinda upset this Irish Male
You touch her once with your greasy hands
I'm gonna stretch your neck like a long rubber band
I'm wearin' a ring that she bought me on sale
And that makes her the property of this Irish Male

You better not mess with the Irish Male my friend
The Irish Male gets mad, he's gonna do you in
You know what's good for yourself son
You better find somebody else son
Don't tamper with the property of the Irish Male

Through the rain and the heat and the sleet and the snow
The Irish Male is on his toes
Quit watchin' my woman, for that ain't wise
You ain't pullin' no wool over this boy's eyes
I catch you 'round my woman, champ
I'm gonna leave your head 'bout the shape of a stamp
Kinda flattened out, so you'll do well
To quit playin' games with this Irish Male

You better not mess with the Irish Male my friend
The Irish Male gets mad, he's gonna do you in
You know what's good for yourself son
You better find somebody else son
Don't tamper with the property of the Irish Male

Sock it to me

All right...now I'm gonna tell it like it is son
I catch you messin' 'round with that woman of mine
I'm gonna lay one on ya. You're talkin' to the Irish Male
The only Irish Male
