OK i have a question for those with some time to spare or for those with a talent for psychology.....

I can understand when we feel guilty for something we believe we have done or had some connection with ...but why do we feel guilty for things we have absolutely no control over and have really nothing to do with it ....for instance when someone dies...or gets ill....you feel somehow a sense of guilt that they are bad and you are OK......do any of you ever feel any of this ...and if so what is the reason behind it

a lot of ppl have guilt when someone dies coz they feel they should of done more for them or treated them diffrent ..... its just a part of grief and loss., thinking in someway if we would of been diffrent they still would be here today ..but its the grief and the loss that makes feel that way ..in most cases we did al we could and loved them the best we could and they were happy with us ...it a part of the grieving processwine
