What with over population, unplanned pregnacies especially among teenagers.....
Why don't doctors (the have the know how) to make all males sterlie at birth...with a reversable operation...
It's not as daft as it sounds...How many kids are brought up in unloved homes...How many adults really know what it's like to be a parent...?
So why not as I've said make all males sterile at birth and when they are ready to start a family they under go a 'means' test..to see if they can be responsible parents...And if they 'pass' or get enough credits..then the op is reversed...
That way we are sure that the pregnacy is not only planned but the two parents are armed with the knowledge to be able them to be godd responsible parents..I know most of being a parent is trial and error..But how many women got pregnant when they were only starting off in life and had to for go there hopes and aspirations to bring up a family...
Forced sterilzation of all mals at birth is, as I'm sure you realize, very extreme. Not a reasonable solution to the problem of over-population and other social issues. Some EU countries have zero population growth, Austria I know does. What are they doing right? I think education is the solution. Can't buy into that either...the minute you become a parent you are for life...you don't stop becoming a parent the minute Jr flies the coup....I can remember my grandmother giving my daddy an ear full..Why because she was his mother and even though my daddy had flown the coup many moons before, didn't stop my grandmother from pulling rank and giving him a kick up the back side if and when she thought he deserved it...In saying that my daddy and mummy did a great job bringing up 7 kids..And I'll do the same to mine...give them a kick in the butt if they need it..no matter how old they are....
Just maybe thats where both Adolfs and Jr's parents failed[ my grandmother and parents didn't)...They let go of the ropes (their responsiblity of parenting) because like so many they think that it stops when the kids move out...It doesn't...
Perfect idee .I did it when the mother of my children coul,d not have children any more .My doughter is a bit handicapt becouse of a heavy delivery.

maybe my idea of a reversable op...isn't that stupid. Thats exactly it...you took the of being a resposible parent to your daughter..You realized that if you had anymore you couldn't give your handicapped daughter the attention she needs.But not every one in this big bad world thinks like you..thats unfortunate. There are lots of people who's head sole purpose is to keep their ears apart...

I most definitely do not want to sound like my mother here ... or an extremist ... but everyone guzzling poisoned food, storing their food in plastics, eating whatever their taste buds want, wearing fabrics and jewellery made of dubious substances, being exposed to whatever it is that is in cell-phones and other ray emitting electronics ......can only lead down a One-Way Street... and that street is called Infertility (Cancer is another name too)
Even my own kids - who are pretty enlightened - can`t help themselves! I watch what they eat, when they`re on their own, or I haven`t made the food .... it is all INSTANT, out of packets, cans, boxes, dehydrated, and LOTS of red meat (loaded with growth hormones/steroids/anti-biotics injected into the commercial animals).. and scavenging sea-foods. Or else Take-Aways, or restaurant food. Nothing they eat is "real" food!
What amazes me is that people like to buy Cheap & Easy food, and then don`t mind paying enormous sums in medical care?
Anyway, apparently the world used to be run by females, so maybe they will manage resources better than the males?

Ah ja, yackety yack speak, as far as I`m concerned.Once, in SA, after a Buyer in the fresh produce department of a national food chain told me that all their vegetables and fruit are Irradiated, they were having problems with certain types of fruit, but the problem was being worked on.
I interviewed the Consumer Council Health Watchdog people ... and guess what they had to say about Irradiation?....."Oh but, the food still TASTES the same"......

Irradiation "locks in" the nutrients, sterilises any decay, disease, germs, etc.....you eat it, it passes right thru your system - vitamins, minerals, everything - your body does not absorb any of the nutrients.
There was an outbreak of Salmonella at a huge Chicken Battery Farm .... the dead chickens were sent to be Irradiated .... and distributed to food shops for people to eat! Oh they were sterile from the disease, and they still tasted like chicken .....
