Of course there have to be contingency plans for this kind of stuff and I'd be amazed if they weren't already in place. Check out Alex Jones on infowars and you'll find out about the extra graves that are prepared along with stock piling of plastic sealed coffins.
None of this stuff shocks or surprises me any more and there are companies which specialise in emergency food stock piling for families and non genetically modified seeds etc. I'm surprised that you are surprised by this.

fair call but more people die from smoking each year, motor related accidents…etc then the swine flu has the potential to kill. Just from a common cold implications around 3600 people die each year. I cannot see how they can justify this particular flue will kill more then any other previous one.
