You put alcohol on your finger and let your cat smell it! do this a time or two. now anytime, you can hold up your finger and start moving it toward the cat......the cat will frown and run!!!

I read... and of course I can't remember where I read it. But there's a program you can install that knows when the cat has walked over the keyboard. So when weird random keystrokes like this " qewqweqwy " pop up, it opens a window. So , for instance, the cat steps on a key that could delete something important, this program stops it.

I don't need to use alcohol, I have the dreaded spray bottle of water. Everytime she did something bad, such as using her claws to climb the screens, I would say "Spray bottle" then give her a little spray.
Now I just have to say the word and she stops.

I adopted a severely abused dog (my screen name pays tribute to her...Casey, RIP)

She was very skittish around everyone. It was so sad....

The day I brought her home, she was even scared to go up steps. After a few weeks, she would run up and down stairs like they weren't even there...laugh

She warmed up to people eventually, but she must have gone through hell when she was abused...

I love you Casey....
