No I wouldn't if you have that amount of cash to spair, [I work with Thai girls and they say you can get a ticket to and from Thailand about £300,] so price is prob right. If you really really want to see her don't obviously tell her your supision, but just offer to buy her ticket say off the iternet and that way she cant take your money for any thing else, and yes if she is conning you, dosen't have any intention of seeing you she won't have the money to spend and will decline you offer of you buying a ticket, of course you could go and see her yourself. It's a common trap I'm afraid, I get asked regularly for money on here, it's quite easy tro determine now, as I've been asked so many times, it's easy to direct some questions in order to discover this at an early stage.
saying that there is always the possibility of it being genuine, and I don't want to intrude on a potential romance... but the admins don't put warnings up all over this site withoot good reason...

I have been many times and sat in the Sois internet cafes watching the girls send such e mails to 20 guys a day. Sometimes there is an English Teacher helping her with the letters as they can not write well.
I would honestly say its the biggest scam in Thailand.
Worse is NO WAY CAN SHE GET A VISA TO VISIT YOU. CHECK WITH THE BRITISH EMBASSY IN BANGKOK. SHE WILL BE VERY VERY LUCKY TO GET ONE IF YOU WERE IN THE EMBASSY WITH HER, AND YOU ARE NOT IN THE SAME ROOM WHEN INTERVIEWED.
Sadly a Thai wage is about 3,000 Bhat a month thats £60 a month at todays rates when the bhat was 42 to the pound even less. This pays only food cheap room sleeping on the floor of course and bus fares to work they work 7 days a week maybe 12 hrs a day + travel to work and back on a terrible bus maybe another 2 hrs.
The only Thai Girl with money is a Bar Girl she can earn £20 to £60 a GO (You know what I mean I dont have to draw a picture) Its easy to feel sorry for them but Taksin Sinawatta the ex Prime Minister stole hundreds of Billions sent by USA Europa and the rest of the world and left Thailand with it. I believe he has £800, Million Pounds Frozen in Thailand and this is a drop in the ocean to what he stole I was there at the Tsunami helping and clearing up bodies even police came and arrested us and fined us for not having a WORK PERMIT it was charity work helping with first aid and the police were terrible they wanted us all out of the way so they can steal the wallets watches jewelry and even Gold Teeth from the bodies.
Steer Clear of Thailand altogether. Go to Malaysia at least English Law Applies.
All these Thai girls have a Thai boyfriend they fell in love with at school. They support him even when they have a Foreign boyfriend (Known as a Forang) Have a look at Bhat and Solds latest blogs about the corruption in Thailand and the difficulties to marry. You are not even allowed to stay in Thailand if you are married with kids you have to get out every 90 days if you have a 12 month Visa. If not you enter and exit by bus on a 14 day Visa and must do it every 14 days. If you enter by plane you have 30 days. After I believe 90 days entering like this you must stay out for a further 6 months at least.
Read about English and Forang guys being taken for every penny you can not own a house or land as soon as you get one (in her name) she is back with the Thai boyfriend usually a policeman comes waving his gun and you are gone or beaten up or at the worse disposed of never to be seen again.

When you say you met her, do you mean you've actually physically met? Or do you mean you met her (or him) on the internet?
If you want to meet her, or meet her again, you need to go to Thailand - and meet in safe, secure, public place if it's for the 1st time.
If you sent her £600 you'd get some hard luck story about how she lost her baggage and tickets in the taxi. And she'd ask you to send some more money.
