I am new on this site but am on another site much like this one for a few months..Is it just me or do others find that through on line dating....Trying to meet that one person you feel a connection with will happen? How does one even attempt when the date with one person is sporactic or you go on date after date after date? Does it not take time to get to know one person?...If so how is that accomplished through one or two dates?...chatting on line just doesn't cut it...I don't think you can get to know the person at his or her true self...I have been out of the dating scene for a while and have just got back into it and I find it so different and frustrating...There is so much game playing going on and time consuming to weed out the players.....Whats a girl to do??

well.....it does work...im living proof...im in a relationship of over 7 months with someone on this site...we see each other all the time even though we live 5 hours apart....its a very real thing....my advice...get it into the real realm as fast as possible...long drawn "online" relationships tend to stagnate

If you're looking to break a speed record in "finding the one", you're destined to be mighty disppointed.

I like the time consuming task of "finding friends", then "the one" might rear his silly head in the meantime.

I like meeting people online. I find it gives you the peace of mind to get to know someone a bit before without having to give your personal information right away and you can go with your own pace etc..then you can proceed to the phone and then meet in a public place and go from there.

You just need patience and take things one day at a time.

most people online are players, hate to tell you this but its the truth.
They are scared to go out in the real world and mingle because they can't play their little games and stroke their pathetic little egos if they met people in person. like in real life if somebody shows they like you online they will go do extra things to show it, if they dont they are playing. watch out, but i wish you luck, and happy hunting.
