Well wots the alternative dunno

I just think people are not angry enough, or not showing it anyway!sigh

There are protests nearly every day now can ya imagine if everybody came out 2 gether, the country wud be at a standstill maybe thats what needs to happen, because this government hasnt listened and still doesnt to the people who elected them ( not 1 of them myself grin )

Well a petrol bomb through the dept of finance sunday is i suppose letting them no people are not happy ! devil

Well good luck! The government don't seem to have a clue where or when they should cut spending.

I heard about a HSE dept in the North West that was set up due to de-centralisation that ended up doing nothing and because the guys working in the place are on the public payroll - they can't be moved, or fired, or anything, without a ministerial decision. So the taxpayer is paying for 50 people to sit in an office doing nothing while absolute essential services like an out of hours child protection scheme are left on the back bench... madness!!!

and what about that public sector wage machine thingy..that cost over a million quid that never bloody worked...and now we as tax payers are paying something like 200,000 per year to store the stupid thing...to my knoweledge in navan hospital theres a mri machine sitting idle cos theres no one there knows how to work it...if...god forbid something should happen to my kids and they need hospitl treatment..i have to get them to drogheda (fine for me i can drive but not evryone can) because they closed the pediatrics dept...theres so much waste in the health sector its unbelievable very mad very mad very mad
