I think so. Body conscious could be included in self conscious, although the latter would be someone that is concerned about being defective (and I use this as a self conscious person) in more ways then just the body.
In response to: Is there a difference between being self conscious and body conscious?

Yes of course there is a difference. At least there can be. Being self-conscious may be for a number of reasons, not only because of a dissatisfaction in ones body.
I have known people who are very attractive, and have good physical attributes, yet they are still self-conscious. I have also known people who are not what is deemed as attractive in the often media controlled accepted sense, but still have great self-confidence and are never self-conscious.
I think self-consciousness can be attributed to emotional problems generally.
