every time i go out with friends someone aways starts 2 fight and ends up in a police cell for the night why do they even drink if thats going 2 happen ? its behond me

It seems to me as if some folks dont have any social skills, they drink way too much and all their pent up insecurities come to the fore and they need to vent all the anger that they cant deal with when sober,i work in a school where lots of the kids live for their weekend swally as they call it, drink is way too important now in our society..

I party seriously hard, so I don't hang out with people who can't hold their liquor. So if somebody can't keep their gag reflex or their behavior in check I don't hang with them. I handle my liquor well, but I definitely have my fair share of drunk srories all funny though. I don't get violent.

simple-they just don't care. the high feels good so they keep drinking until they r sick. no i don't do that now, but i use to in my early 20's.------ This thread is Archived ------

People used to get drunk and be ashamed of the fact and they'd feel very embarrassed - now kids seem to believe it's their right to get smashed out of their faces and having a fight is all a good laugh and part of a 'social' night out.
Alcohol is a dangerous drug and should only be used sensibly and within limits........ I have hardly ever got really drunk but several times my own behaviour has been detrimentally affected by the side effects of alcohol - it reduces inhibitions and when you are happy can make you more happy and when sad more sad - but if taken when angry it's a 'No! No!'.
I lost the love of my life partially due to the fact that I went and had a drink when I was very upset and angry and the alcohol fuelled my feelings of hurt and resentment; this resulted in behaviour that led to the immediate breakdown of the relationship.
