Totally, but not unexpected. Mugabe will never allow anyone to co-rule, showed that when a second vote was called for, if you don't like the outcome of the first, have another and another, until you get the desired result.

Been of African origin, i always ask why african presidents are so greedy and selfish to their people.

I see here is europe that corruption exist here as in african but it is done in an intelligent way that the people do not see what goes on in government and the frauder uses the revenue he got to develop himself after living power calmely but african frauders want everything and forget about the people who brought them where they are. It is a pitty we all run from all this natural riches to live our lives in developed countries who have not a fraction of what we have.

Secondly, i always ask the question, did the colonial masters take all we had from us? We still have a lot of resources in africa that can make us competitive but the people making noise about this colonialism are the same people hurting africa because of greed.

There is a saying that: should whites move down to africa and africans move over to developed countries. We will still travel back to africa for work and life and collapse these beautiful economies.

thumbs up Ja, you have a good argument there!

I also wonder the things you wonder.

Africa is a Fabulous Country! It has everything!

As I see it ..... in the European countries the people do demand a certain standard of living - and they work very hard to contribute to the government coffers. Okay, so the guys at the top get rich .... all politicians are basically the same, innit?

But the people of Africa have to begin sometime to make DEMANDS on the people they elected to represent them..... what you think?

Oh, and welcome to the EU Forum zdprincecswelcome

Thank you Sweet Smoky.

Africans work very very hard but taxes paid goes to the pockets of politicians. Big business bosses bride tax officers and politicians wave their taxes.

When i watch documentary of africa i just see the very rural areas not the cities. They do all this to demand aid from the rich countries which ends up in the pockets of the top men and women and the politicians as well.

I worked for an NGO for 6 months in the mid of my career and this org was granted 120,000 British pounds for a 3 years project to educate the underpreviledged in the field of computing, tie and dye clothes manufacturing, bead making and catering.

I saw how the students where serious learn and teachers killing themselves for this organisation but we were paid under 20 euros a month which made some teachers plead to stay in a little quaters the school had because they could not pay their rents. It was not understandable having only 6 teachers. But the big bosses had everything in their pockets. Also apart from the students having the skills they could not start their own small businesses because the promise that was stated in the business plan sent to comic relief was not satisfied.

My mam was a bebficiary of the skills and i am now going to establish her. because she currently does it in a small scale and ends almost anything for it.

I believe to resolve african issues, the developed countries are to demand a sort of living standards when the aid is given. And also keep an eye on the rulers.
