There is no phone rates.
He lives in Edmonton, but he works so much never know when he is at home. Would not want to phone and he was still at work. He works 14 hr. days most of the time for now.------ This thread is Archived ------

we e-mail back and forth for about two weeks, we were to go out for coffee twice but each time something came up, once it was work and this week end he got sick. I do believe him but still wondering since he says he will phone three times now and did not do it. First time was when he was sick, said took some medicine and fell asleep, next time he was too tired and just wanted to go to bed, to night he said he would phone and again nothing, but he is not even on line tonight so could of got caught up at work.

Sorry, but it seems this guy is doing everything he can to back out of this. He obviously doesn't have the courage to say so to you directly.
I would suggest that you forget about him and direct your energies to someone who will treat you with the respect that you deserve and not mess you around like this

I concur, if I was exchanging emails and had someones tel number, I would call if only to make sure she was just as interested as me, also what better way to break the ice in a phone call that to joke about needing some comfort for a man cold

Sounds like he is extremely busy ...... I totally understand that as I've been working crazy hours myself and time just seems to slip by me. When all you are doing is working 12-13 hour days that doesn't leave much time for anything except to eat and sleep and start over again. As well, even if you do have some free time its still a matter of feeling tired and too exhausted to chat.
I finally gave up dating right now as I simply don't have the time or energy to invest in getting to know another person - I'm barely having time to see my family nevermind someone new in my life.
