When I got here not to long ago I saw this place as non accepting, very clickish and non inviting Some people were even mean, rude and condescending. Then I realized that’s the way it works ever where. In the work place for instance, if you are a newbie you have to earn respect, acceptance and there is always someone who is going to test you to see your resolve. All Social groups are like this. People hate change (The most constant thing in the universe) and newbie’s are change.
But the Newbie has a responsibility to understand this and be tough skinned, self assured and self confident for these are required in dating where ever you are. And maybe just maybe, if the go through it here, or at work or at the local pub you come out the other end with new friends, mates and maybe even a lover.

I have wonderful friends on here that encourage and inspire me..friends that would travel hundreds and thousands of miles to meet me..
I am sorry for the "newbies" that could not have joined here at another time to see why some of us just stick it out hoping for the "good old days"..
