I began awhile back, been in town today and bought a few more, like to finish by end of November while I can still get round the shops without pushing my way through a crowd

I don't buy anyone any christmas presents. Well, except for my birds. What a laugh.. 2 days ago, I ordered cockatiel his present from Australia. A lovely tabletop perch made from maple wood and Eucalyptus. It cost £13.73 and the postage cost nearly 15 quid Just hope I get it safely after all that

That's a long way for the perch to come, couldnt you have bought one in UK or had it made here?

Although I have no objection to Christmas, I am not buying this year because of all the people who will have nothing while we do. It breaks my heart to see charities for example trying to raise money or gifts to give children in orphanages a shoe box of gifts which is the most they will get or to see someone starving in addition to so much more suffering e.g the family celebrating Xmas early this year because their child is dying of Cancer. My Christmas gift will be to others

It is from ebay Item number 360149803745 for anyone interested in seeing what it looks like
I know what you mean about those flip flops, same thing happened to me when I bought a nice pair of leather ones from a well known high street shop. Trouble was, I never ended up wearing them the year I bought them, think the summer must have been a washout. So, when the next year it was fine weather and I opens the boxs I was annoyed to find two left feet Plus, I never had receipt by then and also no time to take them back anyway. I just threw them in the dustbin what a waste of 25 quid.

No, they seem to be rubbish in the uk, the cockatiel toys. Obviously with Australia being their native country they're more into making the toys using bark from the trees the wild cockatiels habitat. Well, this is what I'm hoping anyway
