People spitting in the street really annoys me - I hate it. Outside where I work every other person spits (yes, men and women but mostly men) and when I walk down the road my eyes are glued to the pavement to make sure I don't step in it.

Littering .......... I hate to see that. It shows no pride in community or concideration for others.
I am guilty of flicking away the odd cigarette butt but I do always aim for the drain or bucket .....

If that's all they hear at home they will talk like that. I know it was a different era but I never heard my parents swear once. I'm sure my sons swear when with their friends but they never do in front of me because they know I don't like it.
