"Cuban exiles call for U.S. to do more Some Cuban exiles, seizing on the unprecedented transfer of power, called for the U.S. government to do more to encourage a democratic transition on the island."
Here's to hoping we can stick with “The U.S. has absolutely no designs on invading Cuba,” Snow said in Crawford, Texas, where President Bush was vacationing at his ranch. “Cubans are going to have to chart their destiny. It’s the one thing that they’ve been deprived during the dictatorship of Fidel Castro.”
I am just worried that "The Cuban government used such statements by what it calls the “terrorist mafia” in Miami — as well as Bush’s call Thursday for democratic change on the island — to justify its fears of an invasion.
It also expressed sympathy for the Lebanese people’s struggle with their own “aggressor” — Israel. In the first decree to be issued since Castro’s unprecedented transfer of power, the foreign ministry condemned the Israeli bombing of the Lebanese village of Qana as “cowardly, vile and criminal.”
I say if the Cubans here want us to do something about it, let's load them all into C-130's, fly to Cuba and open the ramp for them to get out..........without landing
I hope it dosn't, we are spread to thin with one pointless war, and one war that we should be agressive in (finding Bin Ladin). I'm sorry but USA can't take care of every countries problems. Our government is a bunch of crack pots trying to make themselves richer while ignoring the people they are suppost to represent. They are so focused on everything outside of the USA boarder instead of looking inward and seeing that everything is going to hell for people struggling to make a living. I can't even get healthcare along with millions of other Americans, yet they are trying to give tax breaks to the rich with their "death taxes".
Sorry, as a person whos going to Washington to change things, it looks like I have a lot to do!
See articles on Cuba finding oil off the florida coast and you will start to understand the sabre rattling in the US. As we've seen in Iraq, Oil will bring democracy fairly quickly
Healthcare, what's that? Because of a by-pass, I can't even get individual coverage. Until the business I work for gets more employees to make it worth getting group health, I'm without
Yeah..gettign insurance when you have pre-existing conditions can be hard to get and when you do the insurance companies usually like to deny coverages of certain things because of it...
Yup..and if they offered it it would probably take a good majority of your check to be able to have it leaving you barly able to pay your bills. Let's not even count the deductible.

Cuba braces for U.S. attack
But White House says invasion talk 'absurd’
