Im on the edge of town here and have open paddocks and hills across from me... love hearing literally nothing when Im drifting off of a night. Although in saying that, wintertime brings the terror err tourists and you can here them all speeding to the snow .....

Ive a place to stay up near you on Lake Eucembene, the best time for me would be winter, not as many people about.
Get to see a few wild brumbys, and the odd dingo or wild dog

Used to live in Glen Forest a lifetime ago had 7 acres.In my opinion WA is the best place in the world !!a county in itself... in the Eastern States its like you do not exist. And that is how you prefer it I think.?

Walking round the blocks here found some beautiful crucifix orchids at an old abandonded church - -grabbed some. Also found osme - don't know what you call them, bu they live on the air and look like cactus, have huge red flowers. Went to have alook and the elderly lady next door came out and invited me to grab a cutting! Very sweet of her.
