I tell my family and close friends every time I see them or talk to them on the phone. Cause you never know if it will be the last time.

never to someone I have not met and only when it is said to me first after getting to know someone if i feel the same and in private and in person of course

i tell family and close platonic friends i do but as for men im chatting to or getting to know i wouldnt say that unless one of them was the real thing i was looking for and i felt those feelings .........

I love a lot of people, but I try to be very careful not to use the word in the wrong context.

There are some people I love very much but sometimes find it hard to tell them that I love them........ sometimes I find it hard to tell my eldest son, sometimes I find it hard to say to a woman - and at other times it's the most natural word in the whole world and it comes naturally and with total sincerity.

There is a song going through my mind now; a sad song. It goes like this:

'Love...... don't come easy..... to me - love don't come easy.'

We can be full of love for humanity and others, but that very special love between just TWO people - no, that don't come easy because we are frail human beings and scared and when we commit to another person we so hope that they feel the same way and our hearts miss a beat at the thought of being hurt yet again in the circle of life.

i often say i love you-or luv u,which seems less powerful somehow.whenever i feel it,i say it to friends and family,im naturally over affectionate..but try to control the urge round dates or potential boyfriends in case they think im a bunny boiler ;)

I say it when I mean it. Not all the time and not with many as its something special to me. I'll use terms like "hon" with many people on a day to day basis - its just a habit that I've developed.

I want to say I love you to a special person in my life when I'm comfortable and when it feels genuine in my heart and soul. I try not to use those words lightly. I can care about someone or am feeling flirty and send them hugs/kisses but that doesn't necessarily translate into love.

I agree with you. I say I love you to family and friends and mean it. I only say it if I mean it. I can count on one hand the number of times I have told a romantic interest that I love them. Usually there was a long relationship involved.
