I was a volunteer firefighter in the Country Fire Service ( South Australia) from 1980 to 1995.
I coached sporting teams in the town i live in
I have worked in soup kitchens especially at christmas time
I also have done a lot of work with the National Trust of South Australia with heritage buildings & nature reserves

yes compared to Steve i really haven't ben making that much difference in the world.

i do volunteer work at a geriatric nursing hospital. i havent done it in a few months but will be starting back soon.

I'm always volunteering for something it seems.
I help out with the local Fire Dept Auxilary...bake things for thier bake auction, donate things for the garage sale and silent auction, take the firefighters water and gatorade when they're putting out fires.
Help local families set up trust funds and volunteer to help them raise money for needed surgeries and things that their insurance won't pay for.
Always donate food to the local homeless shelter and pet food to the local animal shelter.
Whatever keeps me busy really.
