I think the biggest thing for me that changed was to stop looking for that stereotypical image in my head, and broaden my horizons. Love comes when you least expect it, it seems, and if you stick hard and fast to what you "demand" in a prospective match, it shortens your options a great deal.

Seriously, its certainly possible, as plenty of other couples were made on here. I would just say again that to open your mind to possibilities, broaden your distance criteria maybe, and just go with it are the most important things when dating online.
