My mom bought my brother and I an eight track tape player and I rushed out and got "the Partridge Family". we are talking the sixties here folks !~! They rocked !

my first was a single called FUNKY TOWN...im dancin in my chair thinkin about it...
"Introducing the Beatles" on VeeJay label. Everyone else was getting "Meet the Beatles" and I really wanted that one; but now the VeeJay label is rarer. Both good albums, of course. This would be 1964.

The first album I bought was when i was 10 it was ABBA -Arrival, I had to wash dishes every day for weeks to buy it

Some of the artists you have listed have written some of the mmost beautifully worded & meaningful songs . The Last resort fro The eagles is the most thought provoking song I have heard .
I now have 800 vinyl albums of all types of music & 350 cds, now we have found the wonders of I Tunes well I can do that

What an amazing collection you must have! Whats the year range on your vinyl? mine go from around 65 to ? whenever they last made vinyl I guess But loads are replicated in cd, mp3 or whatever
