Even though i clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings,
Thank you God that i can hear...there are many who are deaf...

Even though i keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible..
Thank you God that i can see, many are blind...

Even though i huddle in my bed and put off rising...
Thank You God that i have the strength to rise...there are many who are bedridden...

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burnt and tempers are short,
Thank you God for my family, there are many who are lonely....

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines,
Thank you God for the food we have, there are many who are hungry...

Thank You God for everything we have in life....

I think your thanks are grossly misplaced. Have you ever thanked your mother for staying healthy while she was carrying you and didn't drink or smoke when she was pregnant? Have you ever thanked your parents for passing good healthy genes on to you? Have you ever thanked a farmer for growing good wholesome crops? Maybe you should thank the person who worked long hours for next to nothing making your blanket and your alarm clock.

Sorry but but i don't think the people who are starving, dying because of natural disasters, and innocent victims of war,( I could go on) would feel they have much to thank God for, maybe his a selective God dunno

Nor me, but he might be saying that his god has decided to hurt innocent people and please others to prove that there is good and evil? I get it now...some bloody god that is ain't it?

Okay, you in Africa I am going to let you starve, have no water, no rain, no food nor crops because I want to prove to others that I exist and do that I need you to suffer to show that there is both good and evil. If I was a good god though, I would and could so easily divert rains from my skies to you..but..sorry, go ahead and starve and struggle.
