Bottom line is if the two of you want it to work it will.....There isn't any hard and fast rules. The article is a rough guide line.

If you have you eagle eye on someone and the feeling is mutual, go for it...You've nothing to loose apart from a bruised ego if it goes pear shaped..Same thing can happen in any relationship..

Go for it...

i think so! I came to switzerland in 2000 for a week long karate camp..met a guy...went to greece for a week together after the camp...shooting star on the beach, so hollywood..then i went back to new york! many phone bills and plane tickets later, i came to stay in 2001, married in 2002, had my son in 2004, and unfortunately we are seperated since july this year. I never ever thought we would seperate, i left because i had to..i am worth more than the way he was treating me.
So, your question...when our relationship was international, it was okay, we trusted each other, but i was often sad and missing him...but we did come together.
i truly feel he is my soulmate and i wish he would realize something and want to work it out......

teddybear yes... of course - why not... Just as good as any other relationship... and I even think - comming from different cultures - can make it work better, but you have to think of why, yourself..

But a local relationship allso breakes up.. sometimes... Here in My Country - marriages normally last for 8 years, and then on to the next... Only very few lasts "forever" . . . Is that something to celebrate ? ?

There was a study done on the length of marriages 200 years ago.... And the findings were that the average length of a marriage then was 15 years! The reason was .... one would die .... in childbirth, accidents, diseases, ... and so, because of necessity, the other would re-marry.

Now ..... they still average out at that percentage, but end in divorce. The ODD life-long marriages of 50 to 60 years are just that ...... "Odd" .... and sometimes Perfect Matches of two absolutely nice people?

Well, they must be very intelligent emotionally strong couple! That is supposed to be what "marriages" are! ... Not baling out when there`s a few hic-cups!... but working thru the problems! You very fortunate to have parents like that!cheers
