And for the puppeteers (senior civil servants) to do it also.I didn't like they way they compared us to the British saying that they survive on less but the gm's didn't take into account that the Brit's aren't using the euro and things are cheaper there then here.

And they'd probably give the money to charity to show how magnanamous they are. Besides it would need to be indefinately to wear down their morale and then watch them try to motivate themselves.

I wouldnt really mean it as a punishment but more of an understanding of the reality of peoples lives and in order to deserve their position they should live for a while like most of the ordinary people do because they seem to have no understanding of what life is like for people on the ground

I totally agree. As i said in another post Politicians will NEVER know wht working class life is like. They bang on how they struggled through college and know hardship.....If they had to raise a family on welfare in college i would believe them but having to buy cheap beer is not struggling. Posh and rich people will always run the country cause they can....they have not a clue about normal life.

If they start comparing our social welfare to europe then they should beware, maybe we could be like the french and have a revolution and bring out the guillotine again
I think they tried to do something like that on the Ray Darcy show but I dont think they could get anyone to do it - but I could be wrong about that
