HER SERENE HIGHNESS ....... (30)

She was "stolen" from me - by her Dads family and taken overseas when she was 2 years old ... I could never find her..........

The most wonderful thing about all this is ...... after the initial emails .... we are as close as though we were never parted ..... we only have not met in person yet - which we hope to put right on her 45th birthday this year. We live half a world away from each other.

Her life has followed mine most uncannily .... even down to our individual talents in writing, painting, creativity, "save the world" phiosophies, style of writing, thinking, dressing, hair, etc etc ........

And she now has her two brothers she always imagined she had .. as a lonely only child.

Well, "Serene" is my second name .. my folks were too afraid to use it for a first name in case I turned out a hooligan .. which I did,so they were actually quite wise in their decision. I take any opportunity to use it anyway ....... nice hey? to be SERENE .....!

Thanks Venere. It was just SO amazing .... I was afraid to make an issue of it here initially ..... it had to all sink into my thick brain first!

One of the reasons I believe in a Higher Power .. the "co-incidences" were just TOO amazing ... it all revolved around split second timing - to make the initial contact - using people not of my own family ... and their interest and furthering of contacts, spreading out a net, that eventually found her!

Ha hahaha .. Yes, bloody right Crusty Rusty!...... wrecked your place good and solid when I was in Gozo huh?!! Did you ever get those shutters mended?.. the ones I used to swing out over the ground floor windows with? ... and I`m sorry your one cat ran away ....... and all the light fittings that ended up broken ........ and those kitchen cupboard doors that just fell of their hinges .......

Phoenix ...... about 6 years ago I had a very vivid dream ... that she was dead ... murdered by her father (!) and her right hand was cut off - so I really thought she had died. Turns out her missing right hand signified her inability to find me ....... just as I could not find her.

Once, I received a call on my voice-mail giving me a phone number in another country ....... but the people there had no knowledge of her. Turned out it had been her business which she had closed down and moved on, unknown to the detective who was following initial leads.

It was one of those strange feelings ... where you just bury someone inside your heart, and keep their memory safe .. but always keep wondering. NOW I KNOW!

And another reason I believe in a Higher Power ....... who said "He will restore the years the "locust" ate". My years have been restored ..... full and overflowing .. for my two sons, and well as her ... the timing has been incredible!
