Anyone relying on Dublin Bus to get ya home today should look for another route home. All buses have stopped as of 30 minutes ago, some stopped about 3 this afternoon. They said they didnt know when they would restart the buses and would review it once the bus corridors have been gritted.

Trains are being reviewed every hour too. And most Bus Eireann routes are being curtailed or cancelled.

Dublin Airport closed at 3 o clock for a minimum 2 hours..maybe longer... according to RTE news website.

Yep its better to have no bus than a bus plough into someone ...

if drivers see no busses on the roads then i think theyll know somethings up and evaluate wether to use the bus lane or not dunno

Sadly not as the guards earlier told newstalk that buslanes are still for buses only.

Also only buses on major bus corridors will be operating but they will be going very slow as there will be no more gritting until tomorrow. I know that Dublin Bus have said that Stillorgan, Blanch and Drumcondra are not to safe so if buses are going in those areas it will be a long ride.
