I don't know that automatically makes them a scammer, perhaps they don't know the protocol of these kind of sites. If you say you only want to communicate through the site you'll see if they contact you again or not.

you know, I think it is the safest, at least for a little while to be mailing through the site - I don't want a stranger have my whereabouts - could be some axe murderer for all I know !
I usually report them to Connecting Singles admin as probable scammers.

I've had a few guys give me their email address and MSN address usually on their first or second mailing.
I take no notice. I reply only through the site. Maybe it is that some guys are not as cautious as us females and don't think twice about giving out their contact details???
There was one guy who I did give my email address to though, but it was a 'disposable address' I set up with my internet provider because my proper address has my full name in it. But that was only after many emails through the site.
I think you need to take each one separately and see if you develop a level of trust, but they can't all be scammers, can they??

I am only asking, because when I get a mail which contains an e-mail address and/or phone number, I will not even reply but delete that thing right away.... being aware of lots of scammers being on this site has made me that mistrusting.....
